trascorrere - to pass (time), to spend (time)
participio passato: trascorso

- Numeri
"Come si chiama l'albergo? Qual è il numero di telefono? Qual'è l'indirizzo?"

- Buono , when it comes before the noun it modifies, changes just like the indefinite article "uno":
un ragazzo                       un buon ragazzo
un amico                        un buon amico
uno studente                     un buono studente
una ragazza                      una buona ragazza
un’amica                        una buon’amica

-bene, buono Bene is an adverb, buono is an adjective. Bene doesn't agree (because it modifies a verb). Buono changes to agree with the noun it modifies.
Sometimes the final "e" will be dropped from bene : As in Benvenuto. (or) Benvenuta.
La torta è buona. (The cake is good.)
Edoardo suona bene la chitarra. (Edoardo plays the guitar well.)

una prenotazione - a reservation
"Vorrei fare una prenotazione." - "I'd like to make a reservation."
infornare - to put into the oven
sfornare - to take out of the oven
cucinare - to cook (to prepare)
cuocere - the part of cooking where you apply heat to something: bake, boil, roast...

3. Read Prego, page 94 and 95. Be ready to say what you like to do in your free time. Also, read all the Margin Boxes along the sides of pages 95, 96, 97, 102.

4. Read Prego page 103 (direct objects) through the exercises on page 105. Do exercises p. 105 - 106 A, B, C, and D. Be ready to do exercises B and D in class. (practice them beforehand).

5. Dialoghi: Louise and Ed will perform the dialog on page 103. Mary and Cindy will perform the dialog on page 94.

6. (optional) On the "Holiday" handout (pink), you can do the matching game for fun.
