-Gli argomenti (the topics):
What we did in class, and more.

We went over a lot of homework!

-Verbi: We practiced some regular verbs, and one irregular verb: venire - to come. See handout 16.

-Imperative (command): "Noi" form
"Andiamo!" - Let's go!
"Mangiamo!" - Let's eat!
"Prendiamo il treno!" - Let's take the train!
The "noi" conjugation of the verb (present indicative) is exactly the same word as the "noi" imperative conjugation. It's really the intonation that lets people know the difference.

-Preposizioni: "a", "in". I want you to start noticing that sometimes you will use "in" and sometimes you will use "a".
a - to or in a city: Vado a Portland. Siamo a Roma. I'm going to Portland. We're in Rome.
in - to or in a country: Vado in Italia. Siamo in Germania. I'm going to Italy. We are in Germany.

-La stazione: We practiced buying a train ticket, and using phrases from our handout number 18.
