- Conditional of "volere" On your CD's you've been hearing vorrei and vorrebbe, and now vorremmo. Here's the verb volere conjugated in the conditional:

vorrei, vorresti, vorrebbe,__ vorremmo, vorreste, vorrebbero.
I would like, you would like...

- Passato prossimo: avere o essere? We practiced using our passato prossimo with the handout "Mani, piedi, occhi..." (which we also used in level 3 last term) and with a lot of conversation. Some people talked about their week, some people made up stories based on our reading "Un viaggio a Roma". We read these out loud and corrected them.

figli maschi - sons (to be more specific than figli)

1. Listen to Audio CD unit 21 and 22 over the next two weeks, including listening along with the little reading booklet if you have it.

2. Read the dialogue on page 144. Memorize some of the phrases in the dialogue so that you can improvise your own next week in class.

3. Study and memorize the vocabulary Cucinare e cenare.

4. Do esercizi A, B, and C on pages 145 and 146.

5. Read the poem "Venezia" by Diego Valeri.

6. (optional) Write a paragraph or page to hand in.It could be what you did during the week, or it could be related to the vocabulary for the week.
