Bisogna pagare. - It is necessary to pay. (notice there is no preposition with "bisogna"!)

inciampare (takes essere) - to trip
Sono corsa/o a casa. - I ran home.

2. Pink handout: (part 1). "Rispondete alle domande con il trapassato prossimo..." Example: 1. Did you succeed in finding a room? Yes, because first I had telephoned a travel agent. (Use the trapassato). (click here for answers)

3. Pink handout: (part 2) (OPTIONAL) Compose a few sentences (using trapassato) following the examples in the lower exercise on your pink handout."Ma perché? Example: Why were you in a bad mood? (work too much) I was in a bad mood because I had worked too much. For your optional compiti, compose a few sentences inventing reasons "Why were you in a good mood?" "Perché eri di buon umore?"

4. Pink handout: (part 3). "Sapevi che..." Marta hasn't spoken with her friends for a long time. her friend is telling her the latest news. Start each sentence with "Sapevi che..." (Did you know that...) Esempio: Rosanna graduated. Did you know that Rosana had graduated? (click here for answers)
