Ti è piaciuta la pizza? Sì, mi è piaciuta. - Did you like the pizza? Yes, I liked it.
Ti è piaciuto l'albergo? Sì, mi è piaciuto. - Did you like the hotel? Yes, I liked it.
Ti sono piaciuti i film? Sì, mi sono piaciuti. - Did you like the movies? Yes, I liked them.
Ti sono piaciute le macchine? No, non mi sono piaciute. - Did you like the cars? No, I didn't like them.

The English idiom "I feel like...(doing something)" is best translated with the Italian avere idiom "Ho voglia di...". "Ho voglia di andare all'opera." - I feel like going to the opera.

"I need to..." or "I have to..."can be translated equally well with the avere idiom "Ho bisogno di..." or the modal "Devo..."

"I put on my gloves." or "We put on our coats." are translated "Mi sono messo i guanti." and "Ci siamo messi il cappotto." There is no posessive in Italian when you use a reflexive verb: it would be considered repetitive.

Notice that verbi reciproci take essere in the past! So the participio has to agree!

- Fermarsi... If you stop yourself, use fermarsi. Mi sono fermata al negozio. - I stopped at the store.
- Smettere di... If you are doing something, and then you stop doing that thing, use smettere di plus the infinitive of the verb. You can ONLY use smettere di if you name that verb! Il gatto ha smesso di fare la fusa. - The cat stopped purring.
- Fermare... If you stop a noun, use fermare. L'autista ha fermato la macchina. - The driver stopped the car.

- I vestiti... We looked at three photos of Italians wearing clothes, and found due errori.
